NHS Careers News

Complete with case studies, www.whatcanidowithmydegree.nhs.uk is an easy way to find out about NHS opportunities and career pathways for students of all subjects.

Those making applications through the NHS Jobs website should bear in mind that job advertisements are sometimes closed before the advertised date. All applicants should be advised to apply as promptly as possible, as the cut off time for applications may be earlier than they anticipate.

There are still regional shortages of high calibre applicants for Health Visitor posts.

The Improving Access to Psychological Therapies intitiative means there are potentially more opportunities for appropriately qualified graduates who can apply for trainee posts as psychological wellbeing practitioners. For more information see www.iapt.nhs.uk
